Floral makeup can be different. As in the truest sense - created using live flowers. As figuratively - with painted plants. All of these looks are very artistic. Yes, I again give you a hint that these looks are not for everyday use. Let's consider such beauty only as a type of the ART!
The most simple and quite cute floral makeup looks, as for me, are:
I am absolutely in love with a wing, created from small florets. So, you know, it's not a sin to use this idea even for daily makeup!
In my collection, there are quite abstract makeup looks. They are absolutely beyond. But this the ART, and is not worth to take these looks literally. We are paying tribute, calling them makeup artists. Not everyone can create such beauty on the face, using makeup and/or natural flowers.
Sometimes artificial flowers are used for these makeups. For example, made from plastic or polymer clay. This is also an interesting way for decor - small plastic flowers can even become a highlight in normal makeup looks, creating an accent, as do the rhinestone-drops.
But personally, I like the floral makeup with natural petals - above eyelashes or around an eye-socket. It's a very nice way, and I like it even more than the beautifully painted face-art. Main thing is to keep flowers from drying! There are a couple of pics with dry flowers in the set, tho. Some kind of a plot, too.
In general, if we talk about "why the hell?", we can see a very simple and clear answer - artists always associate women with flowers, and natural cycles - with their age. With this understanding, every photo and every flower makeup start to seem more meaningful.
