Hello, my kittens! Recently, my hands began to reach for the publication of recipes too rarely, but I'll try to find time to replenish my collection. Today, contrary to tradition, I will talk about a remedy that left a poor impression. I tried this recipe about a month ago. Clay hair mask for natural hair with a blue clay, liquid yogurt and a bit of avocado oil - all mixed to obtain a liquid slurry, and applied on the wet hair for an hour. Different sources are positioning such mask as firming remedy (in the clay contains so many minerals that are essential for the construction of the hair cells) and promise to stunning effect.
Clay hair mask for natural hair. Negative review
Perhaps it was my mistake, and I washed the hair too bad (I think so), but in the end, instead of luxurious curls, I've got a straw, that just stuck out in all directions. And even a repeated washing did not help. Hair were able to be recovered after only a couple of days and a few washings. I did a analogous mask with white clay - a similar effect was not! I'm still trying to understand what was my mistake (perhaps you can share your experience?), But a mask for the hair based on blue clay is no go.
What do you think was my mistake?
