BeautyLab SFC Serum + Silk Cleanser. Review

Today I want to share with you a review of two skin care products of the British brand BeautyLab London. Except the fact that I am in love with products design (my fave silver+black colors), I found out I liked the results of using the serum and the cleanser.

You know I have acne-prone skin which also needs special care to prevent aging. That's why I try to find the best combination of skincare products that will help me to firm my skin and prevent from acne.

BeautyLab Silk Cleancer

A light, pure, non-greasy face cleanser, formulated to be moisturizing. It will not strip your skin of its natural oils and will leave it refreshed, soft and hydrated.

BeautyLab Silk Cleanser contains extracts of chamomile, melon fruits, pomegranate, Achillea Millefolium (known as yarrow), watercress, papaya fruit, cotton. I found among ingredients jojoba seed oil, hydrolyzed silk, jasmine flower oil, orange and nutmeg oils.

It was the first time I used a creamy cleanser in my skincare routine. I used to avoid this kind of products claiming them "greasy", clogging my skin pores. I admit I was wrong. At least this one product made me loving it.

BeautyLab Skin Firming Complexion Serum

BeautyLab Skin Firming Complexion Serum

A rapidly absorbing serum, with instant skin firming benefits. Formulated with micro-algae, Hawaiian see plant, hydro-silk, hyaluronic acid and plant collagen along with essential vitamins and minerals. Ideal for daily use with the added benefit of UV filters.

Active ingredients of the serum are hawaiian seaplant, hyaluronic acid, plant collagen, hydrolyzed silk, microalgae, raspberry, A and E vitamins, UV-filters.

Nowadays serums are the main part of my daily skincare because my skin desperately needs special treatment to prevent aging. BeautyLab SFC Serum has very light, weightless structure. I always apply it to wet after washing skin so it can spread around my face skin well, being absorbed pretty fast.

The way I use these products:

After cleansing my face with a bit of the cream-look-alike Silk Cleancer, I found out I don't need to use any typical soap or something to finish washing my face. So I normally use tonic Lancome Tonique Douceur or a moisturizing lotion (to moisture my skin), and then I apply BeautyLab Skin Firming Complexion Serum. After this phase, I wait a bit serum absorption and apply my nourishing night cream or daily moisturizer. Currently I use creams of Proastiq.

Results? For a few week of usage, these products accompanied by my other skincare remedies show quite good results. My skin looks and feels firmer, skin complexion became more even, and actually all the face looks clearer. I think it's because cleanser oils are able to dissolve skin oil and wash it away from pores preventing black dots. I sing "Ave"! These babies are really worthy to try them.

P.S. Also they claim Hollywood stars use BeautyLab products. Isn't this an argument to use them, too?
