Today I post my opinion about the lipstick Burberry Lip Cover #28 Devon Sunset and #1 Nude Beige. You know I am a brand's fan, but my feelings about this lipstick are not so univocal. But, of course, is just my opinion =)
Burberry Lip Cover adds a touch of radiance. The lightweight combination of nourishing oils and gel dispersed pigment ensures intense moisture and long lasting colour. Burberry Lip Cover contains anti-aging ceramides for fuller lip definition
Here's what we reported by the manufacturer. Lipstick is really gel based and you can see this in the final result on the lips. Lipstick really nourishes and moisturizes. Finish is semitransporent and shiny due to oily and gel structure, as well as some micro-shimmer. This is especially noticeable in direct light. This product is ideal for perfect skin of the lips. But if you have even slightest lips peeling, cracks and so on - they will be emphasized by the lipstick. This is especially true with #1 Nude Beige. This lipstick works solo only at C grade. For a good even coverage is better to apply it on a pencil's base (on my pictures I used lip pencil under the lipstick). This product is well suited for light daytime makeup. In comparison with Burberry Lip Velvet this product can become a favorite for those who love lip skin care more than the color.
Burberry Lip Cover #28 Devon Sunset is a light coral-pink hue with brown subtone, it contents silverish micro shimmer. #1 Nude Beige is a light beige shade with pinkish subtone, beautiful nude tone.
I like the design of the lipstick's case with the signature iconic print of Burberry, but a metal mirror-gloss case can easy get slicks of anything. I do not like it, but what I like is the magnetic clasp that allows you to close the lipstick "automatically" and not be afraid that the cap will fly off. Lipstick itself has a classic shape with the engraved signature Burberry print. Very stylish design, and it is not so catchy. Is something I love.
