Though a pharmacist extolled Nuxe Aroma Perfection as an ideal for the acne-prone skin care, but, alas, this trio have not met my expectations. Moreover, all this stuff even dramatically worsened condition of my skin, and I should literally revive it. Yet, one type of the "pimply skin" is different from the other type of the "pimply skin." And this skin care line doesn't suit my skin. And honestly I am sorry that I wasted 50 euros, since I am not a rich person. But let me tell you more about each of the products: Aroma-Perfection Purifying Cleansing Gel, Purifying and Perfecting Skin Lotion, и Soin Anti-Imerfections Care.
Generally, if to separate the wheat from the chaff, may be individually all three products are "quite think of anything", but altogether they have created a lethal combination for my skin. I think that because of my endless struggle with "acne-aliens", my skin lost its protective characteristics and the lipid balance is disturbed. So, I had never tormented my skin with special remedies every day. In the "special days" only. But in December, as I decided to test the products with whole the responsibility ( #cuzIamabeautyblogger), I used a trio Nuxe Aroma Perfection every single day. And after two weeks of use my skin was disfigured beyond recognition. More acne + irritation. I was looking for the other reasons, but no. Problems have disappeared only when I stopped daily use of Nuxe products. Actually, I use them so far, but already less frequently. May be once in couple of days. Now I use mostly my fave antibacterial soap Dettol, Mastic Spa face lotion, and a simple and cheap moisturizer Cien (it contains panthenol and hyaluronic acid), so it and Faberlic Radiant Day Cream have saved my skin after the "Nuxe disaster." Although, I repeat again, separately the cleansing gel, the lotion and the cream of Nuxe Aroma Perfection are pretty good.
This thick cream-gel gives a rich foam. It's convenient to use this in conjunction with a sponge for washing, and I will note a pleasant-to-use pump. Product promises to matt, narrow pores and prevent inflammation (in fact, as the entire line Aroma Perfection). Therefore, contains quite severe components ( familiar to us zinc and salicylic acid) in combination with useful extracts (acacia, laminaria, etc.).
Here it is, this villain - the most violent against the skin. It contains, in addition to salicylic acid and zinc, also rosemary extract. This is a superburning product. If you have at least one red spot on your skin - it will burn in the rosemary hell. And indeed, the frequent use causes crazy dryness and irritation of the skin. I think that's lotion has became the "trigger" for the disaster on my face. Though I have the oily skin, it dried it to the last drop. I still have been restoring it. Btw, this is colorless liquid with bright aroma of rosemary.
This yellowish cream has soft texture and absorbs quickly, leaving no traces. Contains all the same zinc and salicylic acid, but this product also contains useful extracts of rice , acacia, kelp that "soften" the acid damage. I still use the cream one time in a couple days in the evenings.
As you can see, individually the gel and the cream are nice, but a combination of three products that are composed of aggressive enough to fight with acne components, create an "overdose" of these components and simply dries the skin too hard. So, if they will advise you to use all the trio as a chorus, is better to not risk and try only one thing. Or to not take at all. I will no longer buy this line anyway.
Do you like Nuxe? Have you ever used some of their products? What do you think of them?
