Believe you or not, but I love sparkling dresses. Yes, I, Eva Tornado, who pledged allegiance to the black and white minimalism, love sparkles.
Aside of the fact, I am a minimalist myself, I love art in all its manifestations. Even if it is a sparkling sequined dress. I believe, it can be an art piece, too.

Personally I like more golden threads and little crystals: the best way to create a high-end gown. Nobody will even notice, WHY the dress shines so bright.
