Hi, kittens! Today I want to make a post about the last NYFW's show of Rebecca Minkoff and her interesting collection of the new Spring/Summer 2013 season. I will make a small review of this collection and I will share with you the one interesting moment, that made me to be in love with this collection. Do you want to know what it was? Rebecca Minkoff Spring/Summer 2013 collection
As always there are clothes with details in man-style, giving a little youthful mischief to female forms in the collection of this american designer. Floral prints make us dreaming about a colorful spring, make us being a little bit in love with the world. Bright "flying" fabrics and "light" styles coexist with classical forms and a severity of lines, creating a unique combination that reflects the world view of modern girls.
As well as modern fabrics and accessories are combined with retro designs and vintage details (this is so adorable for me, and I noted that the music combines the charm of the women of the past with the chic of modern girl as well as this collection).
I picked up one more thing in the collection of Rebecca Minkoff. If you remember I am Russian, and I love the traditional artistic designs of ancient Russia, that modern couturiers use in their collections. I was touched to see so sweet heart traceries in style "Khokhloma" and "Gzhel" that the designer used for decoration her creations. This little "hello" from Russia inexpressibly inspired me!
I love russian traceries in fashion collections! They look so authentic and fascinating!
This collection of a wonderful fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff, with its crazy combinations, bright colors, boys' details and, of course, with traceries in the Russian style undoubtedly will be in my list of favorite collections of the upcoming season.
