Spain is Ibiza for somebody, or is the FC "Barcelona" or FC "Real", the cheap real estate or a delicious Mediterranean cuisine. I live in Portugal, and for me Spain is my beloved . And not just because it is in the neighborhood =) Just like the Portuguese culture, I love the Spanish one and most of all I like the architecture: a unique mix of styles, that is in these two southern countries.
In the Middle Ages: the era of the Crusades and feudal wars the Iberian Peninsula was a battlefield for invaders from the Middle East, Africa and Central Europe. In Spanish and Portuguese architecture the traditions of building and decoration of buildings Saracenic, Moorish and Central European styles had surprisingly mixed. Later the Spanish conquerors and the Portuguese missionaries brought these developments into Central and South America, where already, having mixed with the culture and the traditions of local tribes, gave birth to a new Latin culture ... But more about that I will write in another time, today we admire Spain...
